Celebrating the 2026 Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union Scholarship Recipients

Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union is proud to recognize an outstanding group of students selected as our 2026 Scholarship Recipients. These young leaders represent academic excellence, community involvement, and a commitment to shaping a brighter future. Meet this year’s honorees:

Alexander Beaven — Central High School

Alexander Beaven is graduating from Central High School and will attend Indiana State University this fall to study Professional Aviation Flight Technology. With aspirations of becoming a Medivac Pilot, Alexander has already demonstrated exceptional discipline and leadership.

He is a Magna Cum Laude scholar, an All City and All State Academic honoree, and has earned multiple Civil Air Patrol distinctions, including the Billy Mitchell, Amelia Earhart, and Ira Eaker Award. Alexander is also the recipient of the 2026 Kiwanis Arion Music Award.

Beyond academics, he is active in varsity soccer and wrestling, serves as a National Honor Society member and Link Crew leader, and plays violin in the Central High School orchestra.

Faith Boze — Bosse High School

Bosse High School graduate Faith Boze will attend Ball State University to pursue a degree in Nursing. She plans to build a career as a Registered Nurse, driven by a passion for helping others.

Faith has been recognized with the Kiwanis Award for Volleyball, earned Student of the Month honors, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Her dedication to academics and athletics reflects her commitment to excellence.

Alayna Clark — Castle High School

Castle High School’s Alayna Clark is headed to the University of Evansville to major in Exercise Science, with the goal of entering the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. She plans to become a Physical Therapist.

Alayna has earned distinctions including National Honor Society membership, Student of the Month, A/B Honor Roll, and the Scholastic Award. She also brings over “10+ Years of Competitive Softball”, showcasing her long-term dedication and teamwork.

Brandon Flanigan — North High School

North High School graduate Brandon Flanigan will attend Western Kentucky University to study Meteorology and Atmospheric Science. His goal is to become a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

Brandon is a member of the National Honor Society and has shown strong academic focus and curiosity about weather and climate science.

Greenlee Gist — Bosse High School

From Bosse High School, Greenlee Gist will attend Southern Illinois University as a Nursing major, with plans to become a Pediatric Nurse.

Greenlee’s achievements include the Kiwanis Award for Swimming/Diving & Cross Country, Academic All City, National Honor Society, Optimist Club Student of the Day, and Magna Cum Laude honors. She also earned Direct Admission to the Nursing Program, reflecting her exceptional academic preparation.

Ashlyn Hills — Central High School

Central High School’s Ashlyn Hills will attend the University of Evansville, majoring in Psychology and Neuroscience with a minor in Medical Spanish. She plans to become a Child Life Specialist.

Ashlyn has been recognized by the College Board National First Generation Recognition Program for Outstanding Academic Achievement, earned Academic Honors, and is a member of the National Honor Society. She is also active in Color Guard and is known as an avid mentor.

Nolan Schickel — Mater Dei High School

Mater Dei graduate Nolan Schickel will attend Oakland City University to study Business Administration. While his intended career path is still undecided, Nolan has already demonstrated strong leadership and athletic excellence.

He has earned Honor Roll status, Academic All City recognition, and served as Co-Captain of the football team. Nolan was also named Player of the Game multiple times in both football and baseball.

Peter Turpen — Central High School

Central High School’s Peter Turpen will attend Franklin College to major in Actuarial Science, with plans to become an actuary.

Peter’s achievements include Academic All City, Academic All State, and multiple awards in soccer, baseball, and basketball. He is also a member of the National Junior Honor Society and earned the Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts.

Alivia VanBibber — Mater Dei High School

Mater Dei graduate Alivia VanBibber will attend Ball State University to major in Psychology, with the goal of becoming a Clinical Counselor.

Her accomplishments include completing the New Opportunities for Wellness Internship, serving as Color Guard Captain and Winterguard Captain, and earning distinctions such as Academic Archer, Honor Roll, and National Honor Society membership.

Kirsten Wink — North High School

North High School’s Kirsten Wink will attend the University of Evansville to pursue a Nursing degree. She plans to become a Labor and Delivery Nurse.

Kirsten has earned the National First Generation Recognition Award and the AP Scholar with Honors Award, demonstrating her academic excellence and determination.

Class of 2027

Information about the 2027 Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union scholarship will be made available in late November 2026.
