Announcing: 2025 Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union Scholarship Recipients

Every year Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union selects outstanding high school seniors to receive a $1000 scholarship to help cover their college tuition. We are very proud to announce the scholarship recipients from the Class of 2025.
Chace Harmes
Signature School
Chace is a proud graduate of Signature School, where he earned the highest AP Scholar Award (with distinction) from the College Board. This fall, he will begin his journey at the University of Southern Indiana, pursuing a degree in engineering with aspirations of becoming a mechanical engineer upon completion of his studies.
Chase Griese
Mater Dei High School
Chase is a proud graduate of Mater Dei High School, where he was a member of the National Honors Society and completed over 70 hours of community service. He also served on the Evansville Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council and received the Indiana Distinguished Leadership Award. Chase will attend Indiana University in the fall where he plans to major in accounting. At the completion of his studies, Chase hopes to work as an investment banker.
Danika Dix
Central High School
Danika is a proud graduate of Central High School, where she earned the prestigious Academic All-City award every year throughout her high school career. In addition to her academic excellence, she was recognized as an honorable captain for both the Softball team (2023-24) and the Volleyball team (2024-25). Danika will be continuing her education at Wabash Valley College, where she plans to earn her Associate of Science degree before advancing to a sonography and radiology program.
Dawson Price
FJ Reitz High School
Dawson is a proud graduate of FJ Reitz High School, where he earned Academic Honors and was an active member of the National Honor Society. He will continue his academic journey at the University of Southern Indiana, majoring in Finance with the goal of becoming a personal financial advisor upon completing his degree.
David Walling
FJ Reitz High School
David is a proud graduate of FJ Reitz High School, where he earned recognition as a Kiwanis Award Winner and received the University of Evansville Outstanding Achievement Award in Mathematics. He was also an active member of the National Honor Society and demonstrated strong leadership as the Soccer Team Captain during both his junior and senior years. This fall, David will embark on his academic journey at Purdue University, pursuing a degree in engineering with aspirations of becoming a mechanical engineer upon completing his studies.
Jaley Hamilton
Mount Vernon High School
Jaley is a proud graduate of Mount Vernon High School, where she earned recognition as an Academic All-American, All-State, and All-Conference Award Winner. A dedicated scholar, she was also a member of the National Honor Society and served as chapter president of Business Professionals of America (BPA). This fall, Jaley will begin her studies at the University of Evansville, majoring in Accounting and Finance, with aspirations of becoming a certified public accountant upon earning her degree.
Jessica Sisson
North High School
Jessica is a proud graduate of North High School, where she earned recognition as an Academic All-City award winner and was an active member of the National Honor Society. Beyond academics, she is deeply involved in her church's youth group, demonstrating her commitment to leadership and community engagement. This fall, Jessica will begin her studies at the University of Southern Indiana, majoring in Secondary Education with a concentration in mathematics, aspiring to become a high school math teacher after earning her degree.
Jenna Smith
Castle High School
Jenna is a proud graduate of Castle High School, where she showcased her talent and dedication as a member of both the Varsity Golf and Varsity Softball teams. In 2024, she was honored with the title of Miss Labor Day Association Queen. This fall, Jenna will begin her studies at the University of Louisville, pursuing a degree in Nursing. After earning her degree, she aspires to become a labor and delivery nurse, helping bring new lives into the world.
Ka'Liyah Naylor
Bosse High School
Ka’Liyah is a proud graduate of Bosse High School, where she excelled academically as a member of the National Honor Society. She also showcased her leadership skills as the Color Guard captain from 2022 to 2024 and earned recognition through the College Board African American Recognition Program. This fall, she will begin her studies at the College of Charleston, pursuing a major in Hospitality & Tourism Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship. After graduating, Ka’Liyah aspires to bring her passion for business and baking to life by opening her own bakery.
Olivia Deken
New Tech High School
Olivia is a proud graduate of New Tech High School. This fall, she will begin her studies at Ivy Tech Community College, where she will major in Medical Science. Upon completing her degree, Olivia aspires to pursue a career in nursing, dedicating herself to providing compassionate care and making a difference in patients' lives.
