Change of Address: What You Should Know
Moving Soon? Let’s Keep Your Information Safe.
Whether you’re relocating permanently or heading south for the winter, it’s important to update your account information securely. According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), one way identity thieves commit fraud is by redirecting your billing statements using false Change of Address requests.
At Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union, we take your protection seriously. For security purposes:
- We do not update account addresses based on U.S. Postal Service forwarding notices or phone requests.
How to Safely Update Your Address
To make an official change, you’ll need to:
- Complete and sign the DVFCU Change of Address form
- Submit it at any of our four convenient branches or mail it in
- Forms are available at all branch locations—or download one here.
Once received and verified, we’ll promptly update your records. It’s one small step that helps keep your account—and identity—safe.
