Share Certificates
Share certificates are similar to a bank certificate of deposit or CD. DVFCU share certificates offer great rates, no matter how long you choose to invest your money. Certificates are available in a variety of terms, ranging from 91 days to 5 years, and most types only require a $500 minimum deposit.

Save to Win is our free prize-linked savings program that rewards members for contributing to their own savings account. Just open a 12-month Save to Win share certificate with at least $25, and you’ll be entered to win monthly and quarterly prizes. In addition to gaining regular interest on your savings, each additional deposit of $25 gives you more chances to win! Members can earn up to 10 entries per month, so the more you save, the more chances you have to win.

What is Save To Win?
Save To Win is a prize-linked share certificate where account holders have a chance to earn cash prizes in addition to earning dividends on your savings.
How do I open an account?
Stop by any branch and let a member services representative know you are interested in opening an account. You will be required to deposit $25.00 when opening the account, which will provide you with your first entry. To participate you must be at least 18 years of age, a legal resident of a participating prize-linked savings state, and a member of Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union.
How do I earn chances to win?
Every $25.00 deposited into your Save to Win account is one entry. You can earn up to 100 entries every month.
What are the prizes?
Participants will have an opportunity to win cash prizes from nationwide, statewide, and Diamond Valley FCU drawings. Prizes range from $25 - $5,000, but the real prize is practicing good savings habits while earning dividends.
Share Insurance
Funds on deposit at Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union are federally insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA. IRA funds are separately insured up to $250,000. The NCUA has expanded its coverage to allow more ways members can title their accounts to gain federal insurance coverage.
