2020 Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union Scholarship Winners
Every year we select 7 outstanding high school seniors to receive a $1000 scholarship to help cover their college tuition. We are very proud to announce this year's recipients.
Faith Huff
Harrison High School
Faith is planning on attending the University of Southern Indiana this fall, where she is planning on majoring in Elementary Education. Upon graduating from college, Ms. Huff hopes to remain in Evansville to teach. "I hope to be teaching at a private school in the area with an incredible group of kids and loving life."
Noah Nellis
Reitz High School
Noah is planning on attending the University of Southern Indiana in the fall, where he plans on majoring in Business Administration. Mr. Nellis was on the A Honor Roll during his time at Reitz and was Eagle Scout who was nominated for the Celebration of Leadership Award.
Haley Bunikel
Castle High School
Haley is planning on attending the University of South Florida this fall, where she is planning on majoring in Exploratory Health Sciences. She would like to have a career in the pyschology field. "I'm unsure as to which profession I'm interested in, but the human mind and how it interacts with the environment has always interested me," says Ms. Bunikel.
Cade Ott
Harrison High School
Cade is planning on attending the University of Indianapolis this fall, where he plans on majoring in Forensics and Investigative Science. "I would like to work as a forensic investigator or in a career similar to that", says Mr. Ott. He graduated with Academic Honors from Harrison.
Maggie Rose
Gibson Southern High School
Maggie is planning on attending Purdue University in the fall, where she is planning on majoring in Pre-Pharmacy. She would like to work as a pharmacist in a hospital setting. She was awarded Academic Excellence during her four years at Gibson Southern High School, where she was the Beta Club Vice President and voted Most Valuable Offensive Player on the soccer team.
Raider Reynolds
Bosse High School
Raider is planning on attending the University of Cincinnati - Clermont Campus this fall, where he is planning on majoring in Professional Flight. He was a member of the National Honor Society and achieved Magna Cum Laude during his time at Bosse.
Abigail Walling
FJ Reitz High School
Abigail is planning attending Purdue University in the fall, where she is planning on majoring in Visual Engineering and Accounting. "I have worked hard to shadow at engineering jobs at Berry Plastics and hope to intern there or at other companies during summers in college", says Ms. Walling.
