Announcing: 2024 Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union Scholarship Recipients
Every year Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union selects 7 outstanding high school seniors to receive a $1000 scholarship to help cover their college tuition. After a delay due to FAFSA form processing, we are very proud to announce the scholarship recipients from the Class of 2024.
Sydney Gist
Bosse High SchoolSydney Gist is a graduate of Bosse High School. This fall she plans on attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale where she will major in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, and would like to eventually become a Family Lawyer. Sydney is a member of the National Honors Society and has been awarded Academic All City & All State.
Cayden Elderbrook
North High SchoolCayden Elderbrook is a graduate of North High School. This fall he plans on attending Indiana University Bloomington and plans on majoring in Sociology. Caden would like to have a career in Social Work. He was recognized for Magna Cum Laude honor roll.
Aleah Goodle
FJ Reitz High SchoolAleah Goodloe is a graduate of FJ Reitz High School. She will be attending Ivy Tech this fall, where she plans to major in CNA or Ultrasound Tech. She has the goal of working in a hospital once she graduates. Aleah was recognized as a 21st Century Scholar by the state of Indiana.
Ashton Wright
Central High SchoolAshton Wright is a graduate of Central High School. This fall he plans to attend Indiana University Southeast where he will major in Chemistry. Ashton hopes to one day work as a research pharmacist. Ashton is a member of the National Honors Society and graduated with an Academic Honors diploma.
Jeffery Sandefur
Signature SchoolJeffery Sandefur is a graduate of Signature School. He plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana this fall where he will major in Exploratory Studies with Intro to Engineering. He is planning to pursue a career in Engineering. Jeffery is a member of the National Honors Society, earned an AP Capstone Diploma and is a Life Scout.
Katie Futrell
FJ Reitz High SchoolKatie Futrell is a graduate of FJ Reitz High School. She plans on attending the John A Logan College in the fall where she will join their Pre-Med program, with the goal of being an Orthopedic Surgeon when she finishes her studies. She was a member of the Nationals Honors Society and a Kiwanis Award Winner.
Antonio Harris
Castle High SchoolAntonio Harris is a graduate of Castle High School. He plans on attending Purdue University in the fall, where she plans to major in Business Finance with the goal of becoming a business owner.
Information and applications for the 2025 Diamond Valley Scholarship will be available in early December 2024.
